Details, details....

I should mention some details about the room. The wall colors are Benjamin Moore Sweet Caroline (Green) and the pink is also BM, Pink Ruffle. My DH and I did the paint, and the flooring, and he did the chair rail and the moulding over the crib. We did the closet organizer, too. It's by Rubbermaid, from Lowe's and it is the best closet organizer I have ever used! It cost about $115, but was well worth the effort.
The crib is by Simmons and it is the Valencia model in Cherry. The rest of the furniture is going to be delivered after she comes home. We have a highboy dresser and a long dresser with an optional bookshelf that we will likely add in the future.
I found the little side table at a local thrift shop for $20! I painted it in about 30 minutes with leftover paint from the room and added the purple crystal knobs from Lowe's! Mike bought me the most scrumptious rocker in the world from Babies are Us for my birthday. It's an off-white thick fluffy chenille dream! I still need to add a lot more, but I want to wait until she's home to do the rest of the big stuff. I got the crib bedding set at Target and I actually love it way more than the $400 one I was checking out a few weeks ago. I have a pattern and some fabric and I plan on making some accessories, such as an organizer for along the crib and a diaper stacker. The pillows are not yet finished in these pics...I just wrapped some fabric I loved around the pillow forms and I hope to sew 'em up soon!
